The struggles of buses where I live

I live in an area where there is 1 bus an hour and only 2 buses in total, the other doesn't go to the same place so you have 1 bus an hour that is never on time and often doesn't turn up!

I am chronically ill and disabled and I struggle to walk and stand.

I barely can use the buses anymore due to the dreadful buses here.

If you have a medical appointment and get the bus, you can't get the nearest bus to the time, you need to get one an hour EARLIER because the buses are so unreliable. So you get a bus 2 hours early because you can't trust the bus will turn up! It is ALWAYS late and often doesn't show. The bus tracking apps just show it due to arrive in x mins and when it doesn't come, it shows the next bus in 58 mins etc. Awful! Doesn't show where the one that is supposed to come is!

I once had an appointment at 3pm at a hospital as I do all the time. I live in poverty so can't get a taxi and have to use the bus.

I got to the bus stop just before 2pm for the 2:05pm bus. I waited and waited and it never come. I checked the app and nothing. I tweeted first west Yorkshire and waited more.

I have known it be 40 mins late, but usually if it is that late, they just pull the bus so it misses all the other stops.

First buses via twitter and said "sorry there is heavy traffic" I looked at maps that show traffic and there isn't at all. They lied.

I waited a total of 35 mins and it didn't come.

I replied and they failed to reply, eventually just saying "sorry it didnt arrive"

I now had no way to get to the hospital and way just stuck as no other buses and with 1 an hour, I couldn't wait for the other as it wouldn't be here in time.

I had to hitchhike as I had no money! No one stopped even though I had my rollator as I am disabled. I eventually had to call and cancel the hospital appointment I waited a YEAR for because of first west yorkshire buses.

We NEED more buses!
They are always full and being disabled, that disabled area is always full of pushchairs or other disabled.

We need at least every 30 mins.

They want to get people to use buses but first west yorkshire wont improve the service.

I spent 20 years, yes 20 years trying to get them to improve but they don't listen.

Being disabled we need more buses as they are always full and due to other disabled people and other people with prams of which there are always lots, the downstairs of the bus is packed every time! I can't go upstairs either and people are selfish and dont' move for disabled people.
