Manchester Road Bus Improvements - Round 3

19 March – 22 April 2025

Bradford Council in partnership with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority is proposing the Manchester Road Bus Improvements Scheme, which was formerly one part of the South Bradford Park & Ride Scheme proposals. The South Bradford Park & Ride Scheme was previously consulted on twice, once in summer 2021 and again in late 2023.

The Manchester Road Bus Improvements Scheme would deliver a series of public transport improvements, alongside some walking and cycling, and planting and landscaping improvements along the Manchester Road corridor

The scheme aims to reduce congestion and offer better options for people travelling between South Bradford and the city centre without the need for driving, as well as making the route more pleasant for residents and visitors alike. This consultation is part of our plan to involve you in the process to help achieve an outcome which benefits everyone.
