Holmfirth town centre can be very busy.  Local roads in the town need to cope with the amount of traffic using them.  Delay and congestion has become a common sight; in particular, the junction at Victoria Street and the A6024.  Kirklees Council, in partnership with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, is developing proposals for improvements to ease congestion.
